How to use
Three simple steps
LENIA is for the moments your baby is awake and you are right there with them.
- 1PLACE
Lay LENIA on a firm, flat surface such as a play mat or floor mattress – never in a cot, pram, bouncer or car seat.
- 2ADJUST
Set the rolls on either side of your baby's head. The back of the head rests between the rolls and the face always stays uncovered.
- 3STAY CLOSE
Stay beside your baby the whole time. If your baby falls asleep, move them onto their back in an empty cot.

The two rolls sit across the base and attach with hook-and-loop strips, so the space between them can be made narrower or wider.
- Adjustable gap. Set the rolls so your baby's head rests comfortably between them.
- Face always free. The rolls sit beside the head, never over the face.

Read before first use
Your baby's safety comes first. LENIA is designed for short, supervised awake time – never for sleep.
Only while awake and with an adult right beside the baby at all times.
Never for sleep. For sleep, place your baby on their back in an empty cot with no pillows, positioners or soft objects.
Use only on a firm, flat surface – not in a cot, pram, bouncer, sofa edge or car seat.
Stop using when your baby starts to roll over, or at 8 months at the latest.
Check that the face is always uncovered and not pressed against the rolls or the cover.
Check seams and zip before each use; do not use if damaged.
If you have any concerns about your baby's head shape, neck movement or always turning to one side, talk to your paediatrician. Supervised tummy time and changing your baby's position regularly are commonly recommended.

My baby's head looks flat on one side. Will LENIA fix it?
LENIA is not a medical device and we do not claim that it changes head shape. If you are worried about your baby's head shape, neck movement or always turning to one side, please talk to your paediatrician. Supervised tummy time, changing your baby's position regularly and holding your baby often are commonly recommended.
How do I adjust the rolls?
The rolls attach to the base with hook-and-loop strips. Place them on either side of your baby's head so the back of the head rests between them and the face stays uncovered.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The cover is 100% organic cotton (OCS certified), tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for harmful substances. If you notice any redness, stop using it.
How do I wash it?
Unzip the cover and wash it at 30°C on a gentle cycle without fabric softener. Do not tumble dry; dry in the shade and make sure it is completely dry before use. The millet inner is not washable – air it in the shade for 1–2 hours once a month.
Which colours are available?
White, blue and pink. In the 2 and 3 pillow bundles you can choose the colour of each pillow separately.
When will it arrive? Can I pay on delivery?
